Every year hundreds of journalists from around the world gather in Perugia, Italy to exchange ideas on the present and future of news and knowledge.
This year Amazon is making it possible for five students from across Europe to join this experience sponsoring a scholarship that includes free transportation and accommodation in Perugia.
To enter the contest you have to write an essay of 2,000 words or less in English, Italian, French, Spanish or German that answers the question “What is the future of journalism?”.

- Don’t miss this opportunity to be part of one of the most important media events in Europe.
- You must be a student in the European Economic Area and/or Switzerland and between the ages of 18 to 25 to participate.
The UK winning student will have their essay published by the Guardian during the week of the festival, and receive full airfare and lodging accommodations from Amazon to attend the festival in Perugia, Italy (April 15-19, 2015).
In addition, the best essays will become a book published by the International Journalism Festival in the Kindle Store with Kindle Direct Publishing.
