ADAMI Media Prize 2016 for Cultural Diversity in Eastern Europe

Application Deadline: October 10, 2016.

The ADAMI Media Prize was created to encourage audio-visual journalists and media professionals in the EU Eastern Partnership countries (Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova, Ukraine) to cover the themes of migration, integration, and cultural diversity.

ADAMI promotes their work by recognizing and rewarding exemplary programmes that focus on these themes and which bring them to the public through TV, online, and other medium.

The word ADAMI comes from the Georgian word adamiani, for human being, based on the first human, the Biblical Adam. And ADAMI is about people. Behind all TV programmes and media productions are people; they disseminate images of people, made for people — images that shape Europe’s future.

The ADAMI Media Prize for Cultural Diversity in Eastern Europe focuses on journalists and media professionals in the EU’s Eastern Partnership (EaP) countries—Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine.
