The Anna Lindh Foundation announces the call for the selection of Maltese-based participants to the 3rd edition of its Euro-Mediterranean Forum, scheduled to take place in Valletta, Malta, on 24th and 25th October 2016. The call is open to representatives of civil society organisations working in Malta.
The Anna Lindh Forum will represent the largest regional gathering of civil society and most influential event of its kind for intercultural dialogue across the Mediterranean. It will connect a unique regional network of civil society practitioners, policy-makers, media and international donors, and create a collaborative platform for scaling-up intercultural action at the local, national and regional level.
Against the backdrop of unprecedented crises and cultural regression in Europe and the Southern Mediterranean region, the 3rd edition of the Anna Lindh Forum has been timed to take place on the eve of Malta’s landmark EU Presidency in order to shape the regional policy agenda for people-to-people cooperation.
Participants will be selected according to the following criteria:
I Nationality and residence: candidates should national of one of the forty-two countries of the Euro-Mediterranean region and resident in Malta
II Organisation: Affiliation of the candidate to an organization working in Malta, description of the work done by the organization and of the role of the applicant within it
III Experience: Previous experience with the Anna Lindh Foundation and other regional networks
IV Language skills: Capacity of the candidate to communicate and understand in either English, French or Arabic
