Call for Participants Facing Facts! Hate Crime Monitoring & Training Workshop.
Warsaw, 28-29 October 2015.

When: Wednesday 28 October 2015, 9:00 to Thursday 29 October 2015, 17:00.

Within the framework of the hate crime monitoring and training project Facing Facts! Forward, CEJI – A Jewish Contribution to an Inclusive Europe in partnership with the Taube Center for the Renewal of Jewish Life in Poland Foundation / Emanuel Ringelblum Jewish Historical Institute is organising a 2-day joint seminar for law enforcement and Civil Society Organisations.

Facing Facts! Forward is a European project aiming to empower Civil Society Organisations (CSOs) to collect data on hate incidents/crime through training so that bias motivated incidents will no longer be denied and victims’ rights will be protected.

Eligibility:

  •  Polish Civil Society Organisations, police, communities, media, social workers.

Goal:

The goal of this 2-day awareness workshop is to foster the co-operation between CSOs and law enforcement through common training on hate crime today, so that in the future we will strengthen the possibility of establishing information sharing protocols between police and CSOs.

  • Fill out the Application Form along with a one-page CV and send it to sophie.zimmer@ceji.org before 12 October 2015. Please note that CEJI will not be able to cover any travel or accommodation costs.
