Allowance:                             £50 per day

(an intern is not an employee and does not qualify for holiday or sickness pay)

Duration of internship:         July 2016 to June 2017

Hours:                                    9.30am to 5.30pm, 5 days per week

Travel:                                   It is anticipated (though cannot be guaranteed) that the Intern will be part of

one international mission during the duration of their internship

The Commonwealth Foundation is looking for an Intern to work in its Governance Programme in support of the activities of this area.

The Commonwealth Foundation is  looking for someone who thrives in a small, diverse and dedicated team, with preferably a knowledge of the development arena and political processes.

Key Skills:

  • Research ability and some experience of monitoring and assessment
  • Strong writing skills
  • Good administration skills
  • Good understanding and use of Microsoft Office
  • Ability to be thorough, detail-oriented and able to meet tight deadlines
