The Commonwealth Young Entrepreneurs Alliance (CAYE- Asia) is looking for top young entrepreneurs across the eight Commonwealth Asia member countries to participate in the alliance’s Annual Young Entrepreneurs Challenge.
The challenge provides a platform for young Asian entrepreneurs to showcase impactful business enterprises that address societal challenges. The winner entrepreneur will be featured at the 5th CAYE Young Entrepreneurs Summit in Islamabad, Pakistan in September 2016.
The challenge is open to entrepreneurs with existing businesses from Bangladesh, Brunei, India, Malaysia, Maldives, Nepal Pakistan, Singapore and Sri Lanka. This year’s theme is “Business across Borders”.
a) be engaged in their country-based organisation;
b) be actively involved in business activities related to the theme of the competition;
c) exercise excellence in entrepreneurial and business leadership;
d) be regarded in their country for their integrity and business ethics;
e) be aged 20-35 years; and
f) have started the business in the last 2-3 years and ideally have no family business linkage to this enterprise.
Nominees will be judged on their business acumen, social impact, and leadership skills.

b) Attach a summary of bank statements, (for the last six months) a revenue certificate issued by a chartered accountant, or the profit and loss account and balance sheet of the business for the last two years;
c) Provide a copy of the business registration;
d) Upload a 3-5 minute video on Daily Motion or YouTube and send the link to firstname.lastname@example.org; and
e) Submit their application via email to email@example.com.
The deadline for entries is 10 July, with the winner being announced on 1 August.
