Application Deadline: June 5th 2016

As Harvard’s largest annual student connection in Asia, the Harvard Project for Asian and International Relations creates a forum of exchange and facilitates discussion of the most important economic, political, and social issues relevant to the Asia-Pacific region. Since 1991, the annual HPAIR conferences have brought together students from the world’s foremost universities and leaders in the fields of government, business, culture, and academia. Join us in 2016 to commemorate HPAIR’s 25th anniversary as we seek to make the Asia Conference more financially accessible, celebrate greater diversity, and empower each other to change the world.

Eligibility Requirements:

Current undergraduate and graduate students. Recent college graduates (within the past 5 years) may also apply to HPAIR conferences!

The venue of HPAIR this year will be The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK). Located at the suburb of Hong Kong and surrounded by stunning scenery, CUHK provides an outstanding environment for academic exchange and research. The campus size of CUHK is the largest among all tertiary institutions in Hong Kong, and the state-of-the-art infrastructure serves over 30000 students annually.

Since the establishment in 1963, the university has nurtured numerous successful leaders and researchers who achieved huge success globally, including Professor Charles K. Kao the Nobel Prize Winner of Physics in 2009, and, Professor Tjonnie Li who contributed to the discovery of gravitational force in 2016. CUHK also has an unique tradition being the only tertiary institution in Hong Kong that follows a college-based system, with a total of nine colleges located at different parts of the campus.
Advantaged from such a great hosting venue, HPAIR 2016 Asia Conference will definitely be a fruitful and successful one! Are you ready to have an unforgettable experience at CUHK this summer?
