PRISMA European Network New Media Ambassadors Program 2016

In order to promote, develop and enrich PRISMA European Network,  launch a call for candidates for the position of New Media Ambassadors, a 3 months Online Practical Training in the field of PR, Social Media, Multimedia & Digital and Project Management.
PRISMA European Network is a network representing the interests of 10 NGOs, from 7 countries, that exchange good practices and to develop activities using new media tools, focusing on developing qualitative youth work activities with an European dimension.
The New Media Ambassadors programme has the role to promote, develop and contribute to PRISMA European Network. More information will be provided during the practical training and preparation stage.
The main key aspects of NMA are:
– 3 months period: NMA 9 (1/07/2016 – 30/09/2016);
– involvement: at least 5-10 hours/week, there will be weekly tasks to be done;
– the main focus of this generation of NMA will be on Digital Skills with accent on leadership,
creativity and intercultural team work;
– other activities will be realized based on the initiative of the candidate, therefore, it could be rather
online or at local level in order to not require any cost on behalf of the candidate;

New Media Ambassadors profile

– ability to communicate in English;
– ability to communicate by e-mail/Facebook on a daily basis;
– basic experience in using digital tool
– sense of initiative, creativity, responsibility, self-management;

Timeline

– until 20/06/2016: submission of application form;
– until 26/06/2016: selection results, signing the volunteering contract and submitting a 500X500
picture for our website;
– starting with 1/07/2016 (NMA 9): practical training, mentoring and support;
– 2-3 weeks after the end of the practical stage: submission of report by the New Media Ambassador;
– 2-3 weeks after the report submission: submission of recommendation from GEYC
