Recognising that women are traditionally under-represented in STEM (Science, Technology,
Engineering or Maths) studies and the related professions, Ford is delighted to announce the 2016
Ford Prize for Women in STEM Study, which will recognise the achievements of women in STEM,
encouraging other women to become involved.
In association with the Ford PWN (Professional Women’s Network) the prize is to be awarded to a female student who will be starting her second year of a STEM degree in September/October 2016 and can demonstrate how she has inspired the next generation of scientists, engineers and technologists.
- To be eligible to win the 2016 prize, entrants must fit the criteria above and attend a UK University.
- This Prize is offered in association with The Professional Women’s Network (PWN) within Ford
- The PWN has the opportunity to serve as a professional network to foster an
environment for cultural change, enabling personal and professional growth and establishing Ford
Motor Company as the employer of choice for all.
Finalists will be invited to attend an Assessment Day at Dunton Technical Centre in September
