We are welcoming talented , both male and female, who have taken voluntary career breaks of 2 years or more to join us for a 12 week ‘return – to – work programme’ starting on 26th September 2016 with the view to become permanent. We have opportunities across London and surrounding areas and Cambridgeshire. We are happy to consider candidates on a full time or part time basis throughout the programme duration and once the positions become permanent.
To support you through the transition, you will receive coaching workshops from Women Returners, mentoring from a Skanska colleague and a comprehensive induction process.

This role is all about high-quality solutions and best client value. You’ll motivate and coach your team – taking the lead on projects that vary in scale, scope and exposure.
You’ll oversee aspects of:
– Financial reporting
– Risk management
– Heath and safety
Ensuring that everyone involved in your project understands the full scope of work, you’ll encourage them to share their knowledge – benefiting both project delivery and our customers.
– Review procurement schedules and negotiate agreements
– Maximise financial effectiveness
Developing innovative solutions and inspiring others to deliver them with you, you’ll provide technical expertise, advice and support to a variety of engineering operations.
– Be involved within environmental, health and safety and quality issues
– Ensure projects meet industry good practice and specifications
You’ll take responsibility for a co-ordinated approach, from programme design and planning to analysis and reporting.
– Plan and monitor activities
– Share sequence and methodology to ensure that all customer and contractual requirement are met.
This role is all about creating a strong team spirit. You’ll be the main point of contact for the client and the project team leading the day-to-day construction management.
