 Application Deadline: 12th August 2016

Since 2011, Time to Change (TTC)’s children and young people’s programme has been working to improve the knowledge, attitudes and behaviour of young people and families around mental health.  Time to Change is committed to continuing to create a culture where discrimination on the grounds of mental health problems is a thing of the past.  By sharing your experiences of mental health problems with your friends, family, in blogs, on social media, in schools and in the media you will play a key role in helping us to improve the attitudes and behaviour of public.

TTC Young Champions will receive training in campaigning and how to challenge stigma and discrimination as well as an introduction to the work of Time to Change. TTC Young Champions will be ‘every day champions’ by raising awareness whenever they can in their daily life, such as speaking openly to a friend or family member, writing a blog or speaking out on social media.

Other optional opportunities include training to speak to the media and in schools.
