JUDGING & PRIZES
A panel of representatives from UN agencies in the region will select the “Judges Favorite” category. The judging criteria will include:
- Relevance: The video’s relevance to the work of the UN and regional approaches taken to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals;
- Creativity: Is the theme expressed in a unique way? Does the video capture an interesting point of view or demonstrate originality?
Up to 50 points will be awarded in each criteria for a total of 100 points. The video with the highest score will be awarded the “Judges Favorite.” Submissions by UN staff and their dependents will be judged in a separate category by a panel of external judges.
For the “Most Liked” category, the winner will be the video post that receives the most reactions (likes, retweets/favorites) using the required hashtags #UN4U #AsiaPacific on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram, during the period the contest is open.
The decision of the organizers and judges on all matters relating to the contest will be final.
A selection of the submitted will be featured in a video montage and exhibition at the UN Day event at the United Nations Conference Center in Bangkok on 25 October, and for greater outreach and distribution on other social media and web platforms of the UN.
